The spectacular Wat Khao Sukim sits atop a forested mountain. To reach it, you walk past a line of golden Buddhas, and a lake filled with fish and turtles before taking a cable car (or walking) up the mountain. Guests can sit and have medicinal tea with the monks and marvel at the vast amount of Buddhist antiques and artifacts. We also offer a trip to a Chinese temple, a Vipassana Buddhist temple notable for its distinct Chinese architectural design, covered in beautiful statues, tiled mosaics and Sanskrit writing. At both temples it is possible to walk around and admire the stunning scenery and take pictures, and if you'd like, we'll teach you how to receive a blessing from a Thai monk.
