Mangrove Walks

Enjoy a series of walkways, bridges, and bird-watching towers that connect over 1.6 km of Mangrove forest. Optional short route tour.

Mangrove forests (or Mangal) are surrounded by brackish water, these distinctive conditions give rise to many diverse and unique plants and animals which you will learn about on our enjoyable and informative natural tour. Based in the beautiful Kung Kraben Bay, the Mangrove walks allow our guests to get close to the Flora and Fauna of the famous mangrove swamp. Guests will see the colourful fiddler crabs, a range of mudskippers and larger fish and a host of other species that thrive in the sea grass and the intricate mesh of roots. At the right time of the year (March-April) it is possible to kayak with a ranger, where manatees (dugong) have been spotted eating the sea grass in the area.
